International Culture Festival
International Culture Festival (ICF), one of the best-known events of PKU, traces its origins back to 2004. This year, the 16th PKU International Culture Festival comes with the theme of “A World without Borders | The Future is Now”. We hope to offer students from all over world an opportunity to come together and communicate with one another.
This year’s ICF will take place on Oct. 19th 2019, Saturday, 9:00AM - 4:00PM, at the Peking University Hall Plaza.
Activities on that day include:

Country Exhibition
An individual booth will be set up for each country where international students can showcase their unique cultures by organizing games, serving traditional foods, or anything representative of their nation.

Stage Performances
A stage will be set up for students to sing, dance, and give other performances on. This is one of the most impressive attractions of the whole event.

Food Fiesta
There will also be a specific site where you will be able to taste traditional foods from different countries.
We sincerely invite you and all who are passionate about cultural communication to join us in this celebration. We hope that here we could create sparkles of ideas and friendships without borders and above all, enjoy ourselves and cultural diversity together.
Important Notes:
A supporting fee will be distributed to each booth to help students with the preparation.
There will be one international student in charge of each country’s booth, and you can sign up in the questionnaire, the first person to sign up will be the student in charge. Additionally, we will assign volunteers to help each country organize their booths. You are also more than welcome to invite your friends from other schools to help you with the booth!
The first meeting for international students will be at 6:00 pm Wednesday, Sep. 25th at B101 of School of Chinese as a Second Language.
